Day 20 - Monday (only 80 to go!!)

Wow, day 20! Can't quite believe how quickly it's gone by, and how well I seem to have settled down into the whole lighterlife routine. Am so pleased I decided to do this, and I am starting to see real changes in my body which is fantastic for such a short space of time. Can't wait for the weigh-in tomorrow, even though I know it will have settled down from the higher losses in the first two weeks. Just have to keep focusing on the bigger picture!

Was awake early again today, so got up & had another 30min session on the treadmill, also did 15 mins with my small dumbbells to try to tone up my arms a bit. Work was busy again today, grabbed a Raspberry shake for breakfast, then grabbed a quick lunch (thai chilli soup with 2 poppadoms) before my conference calls this afternoon. For some reason was feeling very hungry today, I think it may be because I'm getting bored with the packs all the time. Just keep telling myself why I'm doing this & drink some more water, which seems to work.

Had a savory drink late afternoon, which seems to be my worst time. I was also really craving something sweet today which is unlike me - managed to hold on for my hot chocolate though. Feeling really tired this evening, was going to try to catch up my blog (again) and read everyone else's but think I'm going to go to bed instead and try to do it in the morning! Night all x

Good to hear that you had a great weekend and that your resolve has not faltered. It's a lovely liberating feeling to realise that you can have fun while not eating or drinking isn't it??

Well done on the all the biscuits too - you have inspried me to get a bit more creative with the foodpacks too. Although I haven't tried the poppadoms yet, I have made up a choccie mix into what is called fudge. It is quite sucessful as turns out as a very sweet and slightly crunchy goo. Makes a change from shakes and soups and staves off the boredom a bit.

Anyway, well done and keep it up!
