Was really disappointed this morning, don't seem to have lost anything today. Trying to cheer myself up by saying that it's just my body adjusting / settling into the VLCD and that I should be on the 3lb per week cycle now, which will mean it slows down. On the bright side I can definitely see a change already to my body, so it's working, I just need to stay focused on it.
Had a Raspberry shake this morning, and have almost drunk 2l before lunch, going to have another in a mo... Ok so had Thai Chilli soup for lunch, but wasn't till later on as something came up with work. I also managed to drink the rest of my 4l by about 3pm but then started to feel really ropey - very tired and not able to concentrate. Had a quick lie down for 5 mins & felt a bit better, also had a coffee which perked me up slightly but otherwise still pretty awful.
Still drinking water, was starting to get a headache too. Finished work at 6.45ish & went downstairs. H2B in a foul mood too - he'd had a really bad day but we snapped at each other which is not normal. He went to his study & stayed there for the rest of the night updating his cv, his day was so bad!
Had chicken 'crisps' for dinner (yum) then tried cutting up & microwaving the fruit bars - actually worked surprisingly well. Cut them into smallish cubes & microwaved for about 40-50secs, they expand & when you take them out, they go crispy like biscuits. Cool. Went up to treat myself to a relaxing bubble bath at about 9, read my book till 10, when I was sooo tired I turned my light out (wow!).
