Woke up at 7.00 feeling much clearer in the head, got up & was at my desk by 7.45 & worked well all day. Definitely feeling miles better, maybe my body's adjusting more? Anyway, found a tip on the internet yesterday about putting only 1/2 a pack into a latte, so tried it with the vanilla and was much better! Can cope with it much better that way (though the muffin is still the best option I've found for the vanilla!).
Also made vegetable crisps for lunch, getting much better at it, spread as thinly as you can and not too big, then they go really crispy. Takes a bit of time to do but worth it. Had my 2nd latte (with the 2nd half of my morning pack) mid afternoon. Starting to feel a little tired now (6pm) but will have another pack soon. Definitely lasting longer & longer each day before I feel tired.
Is weigh in tonight, a little nervous and wondering how much I've actually lost (I try weighing myself with my clothes on & it's always saying 14'13 even though without clothes this morning I was down to 14'8.4!) Well, we'll see I guess :-s Will have my mushroom (soup or crisps? haven't decided yet!) before I go, but no more water till I get back otherwise I'll keep having to run to the loo!! Oh, the metallic taste in my mouth (from the ketosis) is still there in the background but hardly noticeable which is good.
Back from weigh-in, went ok, officially lost 6lb, bit disappointed but never mind. There was one new member of the group who's starting this week. The other 3 who started with me all did really well last week (they lost 8lb, 11lb & 12lb) which is why I felt a bit disappointed I think as I was comparing my weightloss to theirs - big mistake!!
No dvd this week, a group exercise about what things will be like in 12 months time & how we will feel about ourselves / how other people will respond to us when we've finished but she kept getting interrupted by the phone which made it feel a bit disjointed. We also had to set 3 goals & were set some homework to fill in how we would achieve them!
Anyway, they seem a nice bunch. The session lasted an hour. Got some bars this week and some Fruits of the Forest flavoring too so will try that in some of my water. Had a Nut bar when I got home. Not bad, peanuty, although seemed to be over-baked & a bit dry! Only managed 4 litres of water today as well :-(
